Introduction
Purpose
WPS Designer is the WeldPilot module for creating, reviewing,
approving, and maintaining Welding Procedure Specifications
(WPS). It replaces ad-hoc spreadsheet or legacy WPS entry with
a structured editor, digital approval signatures, PDF generation, and a
full audit trail.
The module supports:
- Project-specific WPS documents
- Company-wide master templates that can be copied to
projects - Pre-fill from PQR records or saved
templates - Multi-step approval with digital signatures
- Official signed PDF output linked to the project WPS register
